Spring Look book: Ivory Romper

Pleated Dresslike Ivory Romper

Despite their restroom restrictions I love, love, LOVE rompers in the summer. But I love dress-like rompers even more. By dress-like I mean that it either looks like a dress but actually has shorts on the bottom or there are actually shorts underneath a skirt. The Floral Print Romper I picked up from Charlotte Russe isn't quite as dress like as this one but the bottom is very flowy and loose, making it feel like a mini dress when you are wearing it. This romper has a skirt on top of a pair of thin white shorts (which aren't meant to be seen).

The color and fabric of this dress make it perfect for special occasions like attending a summer wedding, graduation or dinner. White looks good with anything so there are endless possibilities for accessorizing this look, whether you want to dress it up or down.

I will more than likely wear this to work and everyday places like that, pairing it with flat shoes and maybe a jean jacket.

If you decide to pick this up from Akira be very careful about the wind speed when wearing it. When the skirt flips and flaps in light wind it can be very beautiful but a larger gust of wind will send the skirt flying up. Even though this is a "dress-like" romper, meaning underneath the flowy skirt there are shorts, the shorts underneath are thin and very short.  It's best to treat this outfit like you are wearing a dress but if the wind does blow you will have some sort of coverage.
